Giants Clinch LL Club Champs State Title

A lead off triple to start the game by Lucas Santich set the tone for what ended up being a convincing 13-1 victory over Swan Districts. The Giants aggressive approach at the plate proved too much for the Swans pitching staff and it was quickly 9-1 after three innings. It was a full team performance at the plate with every player getting on base or driving in a run. This allowed the offence lead by Michael Stephenson, Kristian Haeusler and Tom Hewett to apply scoreboard pressure.

The early scoring allowed our pitchers to continue pounding the strike zone. Jamie Haley was outstanding through the first two innings, just giving up one run. This then set the tone for Kristian Haeusler to pitch out the final three innings of the game without conceding a run.

Congratulations to the team on going through the club championship series undefeated.
